Sports Club coach Saeed Chiba warned his players against taking
QSL-newcomers Al Jaish easy, telling his players that El Jaish has
experience in their rank. Qatar SC striker Marcio Jose De Oliviera
said he took confidence from his team's 2-0 loss against Al Gharafa
last week, saying his teammates were warming up nicely in the new
season. He said his team had gelled well in the weeks leading upto the
new season that began on September 16.
Pericles Chamusca, coach of El Jaish, has stated his team needs to be
at its best to take down Qatar, a team with fine overseas players in
Sebastian Soria, Marcio, Abdel Salam and Jasur Hasanov. Despite the
tough assignment against Qatar SC, Al Jaish have been encouraged by Al
Khor's surprise result againat former champions Al Gharafa. El Jaish
are newcomers to QSL, after an encouraging division two season last
