Belgium will be fresh and confident from their resounding day-one win over hosts UAE (94-3) while Zimbabwe will be determined to tighten their game and take it to the Belgians after losing to the current champions Hong Kong (7-22).

UAE has only recently been awarded full IRB membership and enters the world rankings at 96th and it is expected their goals for each game will remain on developing key areas performance and exposing the side to a higher level of competitor.

In the second game, starting at 6pm, Hong Kong will meet hosts UAE. The hosts will be bracing for possibly the toughest encounter of this campaign, and face a team that has been praised by senior head coach Leigh Jones (from their opening game against Zimbabwe) as putting forward “the best performance I have seen from us (during his 3-year tenure) against quality opposition.”
